As a leading college for career training through hands-on classes the International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) recognized their existing backup solution needed more to encompass true business continuity.

Understanding the difficulty and cost associated with typical business continuity solutions, IADT turned to Diriga Technologies to right-size a solution for their organization.

Diriga Technologies quickly implemented the Continue IT – Affordable Availability solution, meeting all the criteria provided by IADT. Within days of installing our business continuity solution a server at the Orlando campus began experiencing errors. Diriga was able to rapidly restore all the files for the college to continue operating.

The IADT Orlando campus realized the aging server needed to be replaced and began the process to procure a new server, but before the migration and new server purchase could be completed the troubled server crashed halting all ability for the college to print and cutting off access to critical files. Continue IT and Diriga quickly went into action creating a virtual stand-by server to restore printing functions and file access.

Both the IT department at IADT Orlando and Diriga Technologies worked together to minimize user interruption and greatly shorten the disaster recovery window by implementing Continue IT.
